Some members have, through the owning Company, opted to purchase shares in the loco and this limited facility has been instrumental in ensuring a sound financial basis for the progress made in recent years and for the future. We are, however, keen to welcome new Support Group members and Shareholders.

Our working group has considerable restoration and engineering experience and is dedicated to fulfilling the project. 73156 has always been a worthy choice of locomotive, being in the medium power range, with tremendous marketing potential.

Some of our members own their own freight and carriage vehicles. This will help market our own Group freight charters, together with other specialised trains. 73156 is an ideal locomotive for operating on Heritage lines and will, we anticipate, be in great demand.
